Andrew Fowle Accreditation
Tony Slack (left) presents Andy Fowle with his Škoda Sales Manager Accreditation certificate & pin badge. This is a highly recognised qualification within Škoda, VW Group and the motor industry, and is recognised by the Institute of Motor Industry (IMI).
Andy joined Derek Slack Motors 15 months ago from a french competitor brand with no knowledge of Skoda’s systems, he has rapidly become conversant with the various systems including taking responsibility for ordering all new factory car stock, making significant improvements to our supply-line and stock depth of vehicles.
The accreditation programme certified that Andy shows competency in; Personal Organisation, Personal Impact, Commercial Awareness, Brand Alignment and Product Knowledge which are all essential qualities in a Škoda Accredited Sales Manager.
After completing the programme of training, Andy underwent two days of intense assessment at Škoda’s Milton Keynes headquarters including a number of role play scenarios which were filmed, and culminated in a presentation of his business improvement project proposal to a panel of judges including Tony Slack, Managing Director, Škoda area Manager and Senior Development Staff examiners. Director of Škoda UK Rod McLeod said that he had received ‘extremely positive feedback’ on Andy’s performance and passed on his personal congratulations on a ‘fantastic achievement’.
