James Ward-One of the UK''s Top Five Customer Service Advisers
Hi folks, my name’s James Ward, you might recognise me from behind the customer service desk at Derek Slack Motors. Since becoming customer service adviser, I’ve quickly learnt how important standards are within the company. I’ve also learnt how crucial it is to be a reliable team player. Plus, the organizational skills I’ve picked up allow me to respond quickly and confidently with practical advice and customer support.
Some of these skills have now been recognised during the recent ‘Skoda Challenge’, where myself and 250 other registrants went head-to-head at Milton Keynes to find the best UK Skoda service advisers. In February we were invited to attend the Skoda Awards Ceremony where I was delighted to be presented with an award as one of the UK’s top five Skoda - customer service advisers.
It was great receiving such a prestigious award and I can’t wait to see the plaque on the wall in our service reception. We enjoyed a really useful tour of the factory (which I found fascinating), but what made it equally special, was to attend the huge Skoda award ceremony to see Derek Slack Motors pick up the much coveted title for ‘Skoda Customer Satisfaction’, it was a great evening and one I’ll never forget.
