Elroq named Car of the Year by Company Car and Van
Having already scooped a host of awards in 2025, the Elroq has started its 2026 collection with top honours in the annual Company Car & Van of the Year Awards.
The Elroq was named overall Car of the Year by the Company Car and Van judges, who praised the Czech SUV’s quality, range and practicality. Explaining why the Elroq took top spot for 2026, editor Andrew Walker said: “In our toughest category, the Škoda Elroq came out on top. Why? Put simply it’s a beautifully built and well thought out electric SUV that comes with a good range of battery sizes, some clever storage solutions and Škoda’s new ‘Theme’ interiors which lift the cabin above the norm.”
Focusing on the Elroq’s value for money, Walker added: “The entry-level Elroq 60 offers C-SUV practicality at a B-SUV price, so it saves on the pennies. Not many cars have the wow factor especially a mid-sized electric SUV, but the Elroq definitely has the wow!”
Since its launch last year, the Elroq has won a host of industry titles, confirming it as one of the best buys in its sector. In addition to being named overall Car of the Year by Auto Express, the Elroq was also crowned Family Electric SUV of the Year by What Car? and Medium SUV of the Year title by Business Car – a testament to its broad appeal across private buyers, fleet customers and the motoring press alike. The sporting flagship of the range, the 340 PS vRS model was also named Car of the Year by Sunday Times Driving.
