Enyaq, Octavia, Superb & Kodiaq take wins at Diesel&EcoCar Awards
Škoda has secured a remarkable six category wins in the annual Diesel&EcoCar Used Car Top 50 awards. The Enyaq, Octavia, Superb and Kodiaq were all named as the best in their sectors, with no fewer than seven Škoda models appearing in the top 15.
All models featured in the Diesel&EcoCar rankings have been on sale for a minimum of two years and are subjected to a comprehensive assessment across a wide range of criteria. These include purchase price, residual values, overall performance and suitability for everyday use. Final positions in the top 50 are determined through a combination of detailed data analysis and the judgement the Diesel&EcoCar editorial team, with each vehicle awarded a score out of 100 to establish its overall ranking.
The Kodiaq (2021–2024) achieved an impressive third place overall, earning the title of Best Used Large SUV 2026. The all-electric Enyaq (2021–2025) also performed strongly, finishing fifth overall and being crowned Best Used Large Electric SUV 2026.
Further success came from the Octavia (2020–2024), which placed eighth overall and secured two category wins as Best Used Medium Car 2026 and Best Used Medium Estate Car 2026, underlining its continued appeal and versatility.
Completing Škoda’s award success, the Superb (2019–2023) was named Best Used Large Car 2026 and Best Used Large Estate Car 2026, taking 10th place overall, while the Karoq (2022–present) also featured prominently, finishing 13th overall.
Škoda’s result in the Diesel&EcoCar Used Car Top 50 follows the brand’s success in the Electrified Top 50, where the Elroq, Enyaq and Superb PHEV all featured in the top 15.
