Nathan Johnson

Nathan Johnson is a long serving member of the Derek Slack Motors Team. Nathan joined us in December 2005, just 2 weeks after his 20th birthday having just completed his apprenticeship as an automotive mechanic in a small independent garage in Guisborough.

He left the company in 2008 for a brief period, but returned to work his way up to ‘SKODA Master Technician’ the highest recognised level of Technician status. This year Nathan is celebrating 10 years continuous service in our team but 14 years in total.

Managing Director Tony Slack said, “Nathan has always been extremely reliable & conscientious, demonstrating the highest quality of work, professionally representing Derek Slack Motors and the SKODA brand. Working as part of a busy SKODA team, Nathan is actively involved relaying important information to both colleagues, customers and SKODA.”

Service Manager Chris Harrison (pictured left below), added “Nathan is a key member of my team who I rely on daily for his technical expertise and passionate SKODA brand knowledge assisting the team in repairing customers cars to manufacturer’s standards, efficiently and timely. Nathan actually drives a Skoda Karoq himself, & has also owned a Fabia such is his enthusiasm for Skoda!

Nathan is currently engaged in training for the imminent arrival of electric & hybrid vehicles.
