New Kodiaq, World Dealer Staff Launch
Six lucky members of the Derek Slack Motors’ team, along with participants from 72 countries, recently visited Faro in Portugal to experince the new ŠKODA Kodiaq, the brand’s first large SUV. With a powerful design and innovative technologies including an impressive combination of state-of-the-art assistance systems and groundbreaking connectivity features.
Staying at the Salgados Palace Hotel , the team experienced other exciting new models set to make their debuts over the course of this year. Participants also attended various workshops to learn about engines, ordering, connectivity, accessories and tooling while also attending numerous meetings listening to ŠKODA’s sales and marketing strategies.
The trip came as a welcome January break after a busy start to the year with the added bonus of a bit of Portuguese sun. Attendees included Gary Snaith, General Sales Manager; Chris Harrison, Service Manager; Chris Johnson, Local Business Sales Executive; Nathan Johnson, Master Technician; Jed Thirkell, Sales Executive; Neil Rimmington, Lead Service Advisor.
