Number one in the UK for ‘Skoda Customer Satisfaction’
Derek Slack Motors, main dealers for Skoda in Middlesbrough have been voted number one in the UK for Skoda ‘Customer Satisfaction’ seeing off stiff competition from across the country.
Established in 1973, Derek Slack first began trading as a vehicle repair centre in Coral Street, Middlesbrough. The business has now grown into the largest family motor retailer on Teesside, and main dealers for Skoda, Subaru and Isuzu.
Tony Slack, Dealer Principle - at Derek Slack Motors said: “ This award is very important to us, as it comes direct from our customers. It not only underlines our commitment to provide our customers with an unequaled level of service but also shows we’re the best Skoda main dealer in the UK for satisfied customers.”
Customers were asked a number of questions relating to customer service including, how enquiries were dealt with, friendliness, appearance, helpfulness and overall competence.
“ Derek Slack Motors are still working to raise the bench mark in the provision of exceptional service to our customers”, said Tony. “So I am delighted this survey recognises the quality and performance of all our staff.”
Derek Slack Motors received the award in Prague on the 9 February, in what turned out to be a star-studded evening. Skoda UK Motorsport’s Andreas MIkkelsen and Ola Fløene were there in person posing for pictures with TV’s Kate Silverton. Just as popular were the actors from the Fabia vRS ‘Made of meaner stuff’ advert. Tony summed up the evening by adding, “It was a fantastic evening and a great achievement, we’re already looking forward to the coming year and retaining our title as number one in the UK for Skoda customer satisfaction.”
