Two new editions make 30 years of Octavia really special
Škoda has a double whammy to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Octavia by serving up two special editions of the much-loved motor car: the Octavia Edition 30 and Octavia vRS Plus.
Orders for Edition 30 open on 1 October, with vRS Plus models expected in stock from mid-October.
The Edition 30 sits between the SE Technology and SE L trim grades and is offered in hatch and estate body styles. Customers can choose from:
- 1.5 TSI eTEC 116PS DSG
- 1.5 TSI eTEC 150PS DSG
- 2.0 TDI 150PS DSG
Standard spec includes 17-inch Aries silver alloy wheels, Lodge Design Selection, Edition 30 badging, privacy glass, a rear-view camera, and adaptive cruise control.
On the Plus side
The Octavia vRS Plus is based on the 265PS 2.0 TSI model with a seven-speed DSG transmission. Additional specification includes a CANTON sound system and exclusive paint finish. Customers can choose from two new colours reserved for the model: Tangerine Orange and Cosmic Green (both shown below), as well as Royal Green and Dragon Skin which are already eye-catching choices for the vRS.
Standard equipment on the vRS Plus includes full LED Matrix headlights, a vRS Design Selection interior, heated sports front seats and a three-spoke leather multifunction sports steering wheel with DSG paddles.
First introduced in its modern form in 2001, the Octavia has become Skoda’s best-selling model globally. Across four generations, almost 7.9 million Octavia models have been produced, and these latest versions are set to enhance that popularity and reputation even further.
